Cold Water Only
Always wash in cold water (below 86°F / 30°C). Hot water loosens thread tension and can cause stitches to pucker or distort over time.
Delicate / Gentle Cycle
Use the delicate or hand-wash cycle. Vigorous agitation can fray thread edges, especially on high-stitch-count designs with fine detail.
Turn Inside Out
Flip the hat inside out before washing to protect the embroidery face from direct friction with drum walls or other garments.
